I had the pleasure of showing a client and her mom a few properties that needed modifications to become a multigenerational home. Despite submitting offers, we couldn’t quite get to where we needed to be. I have to say, though, this client should absolutely be working in the housing industry! Her vision and ability to transform a property are truly inspiring. She’s willing to put in the time and labor to make a home exactly what she wants.
After seeing something she liked on MLS, I suggested another property that might also meet her needs. We viewed both, and she believed the one would work. The offer process went smoothly, which was the easy part, but from there, each step—deposit, financing, closing—had its challenges. Communication was key throughout this deal. Both buyers were calm and wonderful to work with, while I’ll admit, I was feeling the pressure a bit! The transaction was a tough one, but that’s exactly why we’re here—to make the process as smooth and easy as possible for you.
